Creating Data Links

To create a Data Link, click on Data Links in the top navigation bar, then click on Create Data Link. After you've created the Data Link, you'll want to determine how to use it.

Projects

A Data Link generates a CSV in which each row corresponds to an Asana task. When creating a Data Link, you can choose to only include tasks from specific projects in the CSV.

Time Zone

If the CSV contains columns that have time values (e.g. Created Time, Completed Time), you may want to choose which time zone is used for these time values.

Columns

The CSV will contain one row for each Asana task, and each row will contain columns that have attributes about the task (e.g. URL, Completed Time, Assignee Name, custom field values). You can configure which columns are included and the order of those columns.
